In 2002 Ferrari won 15 of the 17 races. Michael Schumacher won 11 of them, finished on the podium at every race of the season and sealed the title as early as July, at the French Grand Prix.
At the Austrian Grand Prix Rubens Barrichello was ordered to hand the win to Schumacher in the final metres, and afterwards team orders that change a race result were banned. Barrichello himself finished second in the championship, with four wins.
