In 2004 Michael Schumacher won 13 of the 18 races — a record at the time — including 12 of the first 13. He sealed his seventh title in August, at the Belgian Grand Prix.
Ferrari won 15 races. The other three went to Jarno Trulli for Renault in Monaco, Kimi Räikkönen in Belgium and Juan Pablo Montoya in Brazil. The Bahrain and Chinese Grands Prix joined the calendar.
