Biography
One point in 2008
Felipe Massa made his debut with Sauber in 2002, moved to Ferrari in 2006 and took his first win in Turkey — where he went on to win again in each of the next two years. In 2008 he won six races, including his home Brazilian Grand Prix, and for a few seconds he was considered champion, until Lewis Hamilton won back the fifth place he needed on the last lap: the title slipped away by a single point.
Hungary, 2009
In qualifying for the 2009 Hungarian Grand Prix, Massa was struck on the helmet by a spring that had come off another car; he missed the rest of the season but came back and drove for Ferrari until 2013, and then for four more seasons with Williams.
