Biography

Benetton

Michael Schumacher made his debut at the 1991 Belgian Grand Prix with Jordan and moved to Benetton straight away. A year later, at the same circuit, Spa, he took his first win, and in 1994 and 1995 he became World Champion.

Ferrari and seven titles

In 1996 Schumacher moved to Ferrari, and from 2000 to 2004 he won five titles in a row — seven in all. In 306 starts he took 91 wins, 68 poles and 155 podiums. After a break from 2007 to 2009 he raced for Mercedes and retired in 2012.
