Biography
Williams
Damon Hill is the son of two-time World Champion Graham Hill. He came to Formula 1 late, at 31: he made his debut with Brabham in 1992 and from 1993 drove for Williams — first as Alain Prost’s team-mate, then as Ayrton Senna’s.
The 1996 title
In 1994 Hill lost the title to Michael Schumacher by a single point after they collided in the final race, in Adelaide, and in 1996 he became World Champion — the first son of a champion to win the title as well. He went on to drive for Arrows and for Jordan, giving Jordan the first win in its history in 1998.
