Biography
One team — Lotus
Jim Clark spent his entire Formula 1 career with Lotus — from his debut at the 1960 Dutch Grand Prix to his last race, the South African Grand Prix on 1 January 1968. He became World Champion in 1963, winning seven of the ten races, and again in 1965; in that same year, 1965, he also won the Indianapolis 500.

In 72 starts Clark won 25 times, started from pole 33 times and set the fastest lap 28 times. His 25 wins remained the record until 1973, when Jackie Stewart surpassed it. On 7 April 1968 Clark was killed in a Formula 2 race at Hockenheim.
