Stewart Grand Prix
Three-time world champion Jackie Stewart and his son Paul founded the team with Ford’s backing, and it first raced in 1997. In only its fifth race, a wet Monaco Grand Prix, Rubens Barrichello finished second.
In 1999 Barrichello started from pole in France, and at the Nürburgring, in a European Grand Prix of changeable weather, Johnny Herbert won with Barrichello third. That same year Ford bought the team; from 2000 it raced as Jaguar, and from 2005 as Red Bull.
